Some excitement here Sat. night.  I was sound asleep and the door bell rang.  I jumped out of my skin but didn’t turn on the lights.  I thought maybe the wind and or rain shorted the bell but then it happened again and again.  By this time my heart was pounding so I quietly went into your old room and slid the window open.  I could hear voices but there were no cars.  I knew someone or ones were on the porch.  I went in my room and grabbed the phone then went back to the window to see if they were still there.  Yes. I called the police and after asking me a number of questions came over  3 cop cars.  Did I say it was 3:30am?  Anyway they found a very drunk woman on the porch no one else, she said she doesn’t know anyone around here or how she even got here.  she was either on the phone talking loud or talking to herself.  I watched as they put her in the car.  The cops were very nice and got there in about 2min.  It took me about an hour to settle down but I did fall asleep.
