Lunch with the ex-boyfriend

It’s kind of nice for the ego - that he called, right? Just remember not to give him the “power stick”. Also, you are the one who broke things off - staying friends is nice and you never know …he might introduce you to my son-in-law!!!

Call me after your lunch!

Love you,

Mom

XOXOXO

I have gotten this e-mail (or call) many times, just be happy that he called, but assert YOUR power and walk away so you can find someone better!

…but she was never so cool to say “power stick”

kinda passive aggressive - submit yourself to lunch with an ex so HE can introduce you to one of his friends that might be her new husband? I think we need new batteries in the power stick…. !!

CindyLou slowly, lovingly, tenderly wiped the blood from her powerstick. “No sirree” she thought, “he’s sure as hell ain’t getting this.”
