I saw this show called The L-Word on Showtime last night. OMG This girl strapped this leather thing with a big purple ____ on another girl and they were going at it. You couldn’t see anything really because of a pillow, but OMG I’ve never seen anything like that before even in the movies. Other than that it was a very good show - Marlee Matlin, Cybil Shephard, Jennifer Beal. I was just really kind of shocked. But at least that answered my question that you never would answer.

The moment my mom saw “Jenny” on my L-Word calander, call she could say was “that girl looks anorexic”
Had to try to win her over by telling her about how Cybil is on the show too
I have to admit. This made me giggle.
My mother and I have watched L Word together. When the sex scenes come on, I always feel uncomfortable wondering if she is thinking to herself, “Oh god, is this what my daughter does in the bedroom!?” Then I start laughing on the inside because her worry seems much worse than mine if I put myself in her shoes.
follow up: the next day mom started listening to Dar Williams and subscribing to the Advocate…
