Seriously, when you make your move to St. Louis and are on your own for the first time, I really think you should start taking advantage of the local library. I know you really like to buy books and you take really good care of them, but it’s money you don’t need to spend.
What are you afraid of — boogers??
Love,
Mommy
As a lifelong resident of St. Louis and frequent trips to the library, I have never found a booger. I agree with your mom, save your cash, go to the library. I recommend the Frontenac branch on Lindbergh Blvd. Welcome!

Another helpful problem solving solution from mom! You should tell her that you will check out the library as you heard people were hiding their cocaine in between the pages and snorting that would be much cheaper than finding a new dealer. I jest. I only jest.

I definitely just moved out on my own and got this same speech from my mom- minus the boogers part, of course!

I stayed away from libraries for years for that exact reason – boogers! Now that I have two kids boogers don’t scare me anymore.

I can also attest to the lack of boogers in the STL libraries…but you might want to stick to the lindbergh branch, the clayton one is full of kids and kids are full of boogers!
