That is why everyone loves us!!

We are on the same page which is why I too enjoy soap operas and reading People. Having the ability to enjoy books, movies, entertainment, hobbies, crafts, SEWING, gardening, working around the house, etc. – on all levels – enables us to understand and be able to identify with a broad spectra of people. That is why everyone loves us!!

Love,
Mom

      Seriously?

On how many “levels” can you enjoy soap operas? One could almost overlook that as a guilty pleasure. However, you talk about reading People Magazine, which is devoid of any real substance. Again, on how many “levels” can you enjoy a magazine whose only purpose is to show you pictures of famous people.

When I first read this, I thought is said “reading people” as in being able to understand them. That mad a lot of sense. When I realized what she meant, I just shook my head…

Trixie, spectra is the proper plural form of spectrum, but I’m not convinced she’s using it properly here. It’s one broad spectrum of people – the people fall into one spectrum. Why the need for pluralization?
