Backstory: I’m almost 40.
Mom: Where are you today?
Me: Lynchburg, Virginia
Mom: Oh that sounds fun.
Me: I’m going to run and get a salad for dinner
Mom: Are you leaving the hotel?
Me: Yes. I’m going across the street
Mom: Well don’t talk to strangers
Me: Thanks, I missed that in pre-school.
Mom: One of these days someone will kidnapp you and I’ll have to get money together to get you back.

You’ll always be her baby and she’ll always worry about you….ain’t LOVE great…

LOL! I wonder how much money mom thinks she would have to get together?

I’m working in Lynchburg right now. So far it has been dismal as heck! I travel for work and my mom and dad still worry about me. I hope they never stop. :)

Knowing Lynchburg, that’s actually a legitimate concern for a mother of children any age to have.

My favorite part of this is that your mom things Lynchburg “sounds fun.” God bless her.

I grew up in lynchburg, and if I were a kidnapper, I’d choose another, slightly richer city to pull my victims-for-ransom from.

man, people on this are so sassy to their parents. i tend to have a good rapport with my parents but i don’t think i’m ever very sarcastic. hmmm, time to analyze.

I go to school in Lynchburg! Yeah there isn’t too much trouble a 40 yr old can get into.
