"My mom was hesitant about my two pugs being called "grandpugs" at first as she is not interested in grandbabies either. Now we have a third pug, and after oh, a year, she loves her grandpugs.... she does IT and teaches technology stuff at an elementary school... the pugs in their Halloween costume (the three amigos) is her desktop background. In one class she had to teach the kids how to set a desktop background, her computer is used to project to the class, and she showed off her grandpugs... that was a proud moment. Is this really what mothers are worried about when their daughters go to college? Not grades, not STDs, not drugs, not abusive boyfiends. Nope, her biggest fear seems to be The Smiths and midnight eye-shadow!

I hate to tell this poor mom, but I’ve seen those nice Minnesota Catholic girls when they move away from home and go to college. I don’t think Goth should be her biggest worry:) Those Catholic girls partied us Lutherans under the table.
