Mom’s Switching Teams

Dear all:
Check out the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC. She is SO cool. She is Rhodes Scholar, Lesbian, AIDS activist who stumbled into television and radio broadcasting while working in AIDs in prisons…..and she is so smart and funny and warm.. I think I am in love with her, even though i’m not gay, and oh yeah, also I am already married…but, oh well, everyone seems to be in love with her. Watch her show for a really intelligent nightly update.

I love it how the mother has to explain to her offspring that she is not gay.

I received a similar voicemail from my grandmother the other day. I don’t know what it is about Rachel but she seems to have no problems getting the “mature ladies” on her side!

Rachel Maddow is pretty cool, she’s like the female version of Keith Olbermann. But oh man, I hate her hair cut. HATE!

I have a few TV crushes- Alton Brown for food, Wil Wheaton for Geek, and it used to be Keith Olbermann for talking heads. Keith has been demoted to Sunday Night Football Cruch, because Rachel is my new Talking Head crush! <3

Maddow beats out Olbermann for my pundit crush. And her haircut is just fine.
