Mom The Capitalist Pawn

Backstory: My mom hangs onto old catch phrases like Mariah and mini skirts. Favorites include: Waazup?, “And I kick her sir” a line from FernGully, and “I can’t back that up” from Seinfield.

I have three writing projects to get done this week…WV, WTC and write a play for Marquette. Hello Moto!  xoxomom

Fun fact: “And I kick her, sir” is a line from Anastasia, not Ferngully.

Though the line was spoken by a bat voiced by Hank Azaria in Anastasia, and Ferngully features a bat voiced by Robin Williams, so it’s an honest mistake.

this sounds JUST like my mother… her favorites include “you got it, dude” (full house), “dudettes” (JEM), and “biddy biddy biddy, HOT HOT HOT” (spoken by Omar, an announcer on the Nickelodeon game show Wild and Crazy Kids)… nothing past 1989, though, has managed to stick!!

“Knows too much about animated movies”: HAHAHA! YESSS! I had completely forgotten that line until you gave the proper reference, then I suddenly heard that voice in my mind, and now I am DYING. Hysterical. Thanks for the laugh; I’ll be smirking all day.

Ahhh haha, that makes it even better! You’re right she somehow picked this up from Anastasia. Wow. Yeah my mom’s a gem!

That is my all-time favorite line from Anastasia, one of my favorite cartoons. I, too, know too much about animated movies.

My mom is a big fan of telling me stories and the shouting “NOT!!” as per Borat.
