So It’s That Kind Of Dinner

Backstory: My mom always tells my sister and I what words she does not want to hear come from our mouths during family gatherings..

You better not say words such as “snatch” or “smegma pie” during christmas dinner!

One time when I was younger, my older brother drew a pentacle in his Thanksgiving cranberry sauce and I got him in trouble with my Mom. Even as adults I pick on him for that moment and my Mom always gives us a look like, “Please dont bring up Satanism at the dinner table.” Haha.

My mother-in-law refuses to let me use the words “brain fart”. She claims it’s vulgar.

I’ve gotta agree with your mom here…

Why would she think you would randomly say these things? :)

there was this one time that the word “snatch” was uttered at dinner…

i don’t know where “smegma pie” came from…i assume she learned it and thought she would throw it in there for good measure ;)

This is comforting, in some small measure. I suppose I’m not the only Mom who wonders how she ended up dining with little savages!
