Dad wanted to set up the new tv…which is pretty cool. Anyway, in his hurry to get rid of the tree, after he removed the lights, he opened the back door and threw it out. We look so ghetto!
Also, I’m trying to talk Dana into talking her friend into putting the old tv in the back of her pickup truck with the hope being that someone will steal it. Sadly, both Dana and Dad don’t want to do it. Mom

Seriously, put it on the curb and tape a sign to it “FREE TV” and it will be gone in under an hour.

Like a ninny I decided to tile my laundry room (do it myself) just a couple weeks before Christmas. Had a built in table there that I managed to disable and carry out to the curb. Worked great for a swap (got my christmas tree carried away in exchange for the table) and btw the laundry room looks great but I am very sore from scooting around the floor on by butt. Do not reccomend starting diy projects during the month of December.

I once put a broken TV w/ remote duct-taped to it on the curb and it “disappeared” in less than an hour! On the other hand, I also once put a really bad sectional couch on the curb which “disappeared” in under an hour but re-appeared about 30 mins later! Like I said, it was a REALLY uncomfortable couch!

I have heard of just the opposite!!! Someone had a old washing machine they set out with a sign that said it was free. No takers. So they put up a different sign asking 50 bucks. It was gone in a day!!!! Stolen. Wouldn’t take it for free but put a value on it and bam, it was gone.
