Well, just got back from the gym….I now know for sure that I am a cow. I
weigh 129!!!! NEVER before unless pregnant have I been this fat. Well, I guess you have to hit bottom before you go up. I hurt, but its a good hurt and I won’t stop. I have a training lady and she is helping too. I also think it will make me feel better, I can get out some of my frustrations on the machine. So, your mom is on her way to being a calf
again.
Love you lots, MOM THE COW
P.S. I just talked to your dad and told him he’s not allowed to talk with any skinny bitches at work. hahaha.

Mom, just wanted to say that if you are of average height, say five foot 6 to five foot 8 and weight ONLY 129 pounds there is now way you can be that overweight. Now is you are a little person, say 3 feet tall then maybe you could say you were overweight, but 129 pounds??? My wife only dreams about being 129. Take it easy on yourself mom, you are not a cow.

“skinny bitches”…love it!

She could only be 5′ tall. My step-mother is 5′ and 129 lbs is a lot of weight on her (she had to gain to have my brother). So if the poster would like to tell us how tall her mom is, THEN we can villify her in the comments:)

I just think this Mom sounds insecure.

I agree with Trixie, we don’t know how tall she is so we can’t automatically crucify her for feeling crappy about her weight. If she’s short, I have to say I understand where she’s coming from. I’m 5’2” and if I gain even 5 pounds I can’t fit into my jeans and it’s a horrible/frustrating feeling.

wow, this mom made me feel bad about my weight
February 26, 2009 at 3:07 pm
I mean regardless of her height if she feels fat, then it seems she feels bad.
I agree with rachL that she just seems insecure.
I have friends who are bigger and super confident and some friends who are tiny and feel fat all the time. I just hope this Mom didn’t pass any weight insecurities to her daughter. I have known beautiful people of all sizes!

I don’t think we should judge the mom. I don’t know a woman who hasn’t said “I’m a cow” at some point in their life.

Who is judging the Mom???
February 26, 2009 at 9:03 pm
So, this is my lovely mother and she is 4’11″ tall, so while she is in no way obese, she is overweight by definition (I am the same height and just a bit lighter than that and am technically overweight, at least according to my mean Wii Fit). Didn’t realize I had to specify that to avoid people claiming she’s anorexic or has a body image issue. :)

KelE – it seems it’s more if you’re used to being a certain size most of your life and suddenly find yourself with a significant weight gain/loss, i don’t think freaking out about it signals you have insecurity issues.
it sounds like the daughter has a pretty good outlook on her own body.

I didn’t mean caring about your weight made you insecure. I just meant that we shouldn’t judge her regardless; that is why I said if she feels fat than she feels bad. She is allowed to feel that way regardless. It is her body.
I didn’t mean she has *issues*-everyone has insecurities about stuff.

D- thanks for clearing up. Some people just need an outlet to vent, I think your mom sounds great :)

LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE. What woman hasn’t said that (or at least thought it)? I know I have.
Her mom sounds fun, and funny.
She’ll go get punished by her trainer – then send her daughter an email about how super foxy she is.

I still don’t understand who here needs to lighten up. This one seems to have made people defensive over absolutely nothing. I don’t understand all these comments on the posts of “lighten up”.
