Backstory: I had just gotten engaged literally the day before… and my mom already wanted to know when the wedding was.
Did you think about this, You were born on Nov 5, a Wednesday, and you met or had your first date on March 5, and you became engaged on a 5th!!
I guess it is to early to ask but have you talked about when?
Love ya
Mom

WHOA! Next thing they’ll be asking when you’ll have kids! I hate people who ask this..

I’m not *even engaged yet* (but will be within a year) and my mother is already taking me to see reception venues and warning me they “book up a year in advance” so I might want to “estimate a date and put our name in.”

I’m guessing she’s angling for the 5th?

I can top that – when my fiance asked my dad for his blessing, my dad asked if he had set a date! My fiance said, “I’d kind of like to ask her first!” :)

yes! it’s the mom’s way! They all do it. My mom had the entire wedding planned within a few days of our engagement. When we didn’t set a date immediately it drove her nuts. good times.

My mother also comments on weird number things such as this. Her response when I sent her this posting:
“I like the numbers. Maybe I should be on Lost.”
