I have reconsidered my request for a Mother’s day gift from my favorite daughter unless, of course, you have already purchased my previously requested gift.
I would like a stainless steel juice water carrying container with a capacity of at least 32 oz. I now carry a plastic water bottle but they, the intranet, say that you should not use a plastic container because it can transmit toxins into the liquid. I don’t need any more toxins thank you very much. I have quite enough of those to be sure.
You may think that this is an easy request but alas it is not for I have searched for one. I don’t really want a thermos because they are large and rather heavy. Instead, I would prefer a lightweight something that would easily fit into the free Ikea black carry case that I have.
So that is my official request that supersedes my previous request.
Hopefully I will see you on Sunday.
Love,
Your Beloved Matriarch

I mean SIGG. duh.

I’d highly recommend a Klean Kanteen. Bought one for my very own mother, who likes to make similar requests.

She’s right, that some types of plastic do leach – BPA is the main culprit. SIGG is good, so is the Kleen Kanteen. I got my grandmother a stainless steel water bottle, which she asked for upon learning that her plastic wasn’t the best idea.

Check out Whole Foods markets, they have them hanging all over the store. I bought a doggie doo doo composter (Doggie Dooley)from Gaiam.com, and they sent me an aluminum water bottle for free (well, actually I spent $100 on doggies poo canister and enzymes). They sell the water bottles on-line at Gaiam.com for $15.
Happy Mothers’ Day to all.

A little late – but Barnes & Noble sells lovely, super light-weight, metal water bottles with really pretty designs on them.

Whatever happened to “anything you get me will be fine?” XD Hey, it’s Mother’s Day, she can get what she wants!
Even if it isn’t a picture of the two of you made with macaroni….

haha! This sounds a little like my mother… mostly the fact that she signed it “Your Beloved Matriarch”. Awesome.

Awesome that she specified stainless steel, too. My mom made the same request — and aluminum won’t do because it also leaches and causes cancer, according to her! who knew?!

Plastic doesn’t leak chemicals. It would need to be melting to do that.
Why do people believe every bit of nonsense they read? Especailly on the internet where anyone can post anything they like..?
Incidentally, looking at clouds can give you eye-cancer.
