Home for the Bewildered Beckons!

I`m only telling you about this because I wondered had i dreamt it. Looking at the digital clock in the bedroom today, I thought i had lost the plot wondering how the clock could be showing what looked like 555. a while later it dawned on me that Cee had been hoovering and she must have dropped it and put it back upside down. Relief all round. And, I waved to Inez in her garden the other day but she didn`t wave back. Undaunted I continued to wave at intervals until my arm grew weary. it took a shower of rain to make me realise I had been gesticlating wildly at a scarecrow wearing a red cardigan. A room in a home for the bewildered beckons!!

I do and I think it is hilarious……..her clock should have said it was 2:22 but in the middle of the night when she looked at it it looked like 5:55 because someone put it on her bedside table upside down. She then jumped to a totally unrelated topic of waying to a neighbour who she thought was ignoring her or she had yet got her attention but when it rained she realized it didn’t move and it was just a scarecrow in the neighbour’s old sweater.
I love the way the mom just jumps from thought to thought and expects you to keep up…….I am so bad for doing that.

that was awesome (and not sure why translation was needed – it’s perfect mom-speak!)

translations were needed because 555 upside down is STILL 555 and it doesn’t make sense.
