wow… so little time, so many baths! What’s up with these baths anyway? Are they ceremonial or something? Don’t you have to bathe before you get in them? Don’t they have showers? What if you start bleeding (like a sieve) in the bath?

They do have tampons in Japan! You can get them at almost any convenience store. Blue or green box, in the toiletries section next to the pads!!

That is funny. I was in France with my grandfather and he had traveler’s complaint. Try pantomiming “raging diarrhea” to a Parisian pharmacist sometime. It’s definitely worth charging admission.
