Next time we are all watching TV together, make room for the dog! Poor Duke was searching for a place to sit and you couldn’t spare a few inches. I hope you’ll reconsider your selfish personality. He’s a dog!
Love ya, Mom
…but I love the dog more.

The DOG belongs on the floor, not on the furntirue! I wouldn’t have let the mangy mutt sit next to me either. Who wants dog hair all over them and possibly dog drool. Get a life.

Rude. Some people let their dogs on the furniture, and some people don’t. It doesn’t make them any better or worse than anyone else. You should get a life, that doesn’t involve making fun of mother’s you don’t know for no reason!

My dog rules the roost and can sit anywhere she wants. If there isn’t room for her on the couch, she will MAKE room by just wiggling right down next you……….dog hair, drool and all. I wouldn’t have it any other way. lol

Perhaps time for a new site, Comments from Just Real Grumpy?

This sounds like something I would have said to my mom… Now she loves to have my PRJT sitting next to her just as much as I do.

MY mom could have written this! On her patio she has three chairs with cushions set out: one for her, one for my step dad, and one for the 10lb dog. If you go to sit out there, she yells, “Don’t forget the extra cushion for the dog!”

Were that my mom’s house, the dog would have had absolutely no qualms about climbing onto the couch and making himself comfortable on the closest lap. And at 115 pounds, that’s a big lap dog!

this is pretty much my mother. Our two labs get away with whatever they want, she probably loves them more than me and my siblings!

I just knew my first comments would rile somebody up. It was just in fun. I grew up with dogs and love em. My mom is the same way. Has 3 dogs right now, a black cocker named Mr. T, a chihauhau (spelling) named Cisco and a new daschund named Baby. If we ever get moved out of our apartment getting a dog is one of the first things I want to get for the kids. Realy, I was just kidding earlier.

So passive aggresive. Let’s not mention it at the time; let’s wait until later and send nasty notes about a ridiculous peeve.

A couple of years ago my husband came home one day and told me he had gone and had allergy tests done and he was allergic to oak, pollen, dust mites and dog dander. Then he informed me that our mini schnauzer would not be allowed to sleep in our bed anymore. Being that she is the love of my life (I love my kids, too, but she’s my first baby) I looked at him and asked “Are you SURE you want me to choose between you and her?” He would have lost BIG TIME.

This is totally my family! I’ve been KICKED OFF the couch to make room for the dogs. The are members of the family though, not pets, so, it’s ok ;)
