Pregnancy Math

Backstory: My sister and I were born ten years apart, and my mother had me at a young age. She’s premenopausal and, apparently, gets baby fever when she drinks.

Mom: I was just thinking…I was your sister’s age when I got pregnant with you, and your age when I got pregnant with her. LOL
Me: Ummm….
Mom: What is really weird is we all could be! Well, I know I’m not.
Me: Fortunately I believe neither of your daughters are with child at the moment.

Not really. My wife has a daughter who was expecting her first child the same time WE were expecting our second child. Then, when the daughter was expecting her 2nd kid, WE were having our 3rd. BOth mom and daughter were pregnant and having babies with just a few weeks of each other, and the daughter lives in Alaska. They would be out of touch for a few months and when they finally got back in touch again they would both be pregnant! It was kinda funny for a while. The daughter thought mom was competing with her. hahahahahahahahahaha

my 3 youngest sibs are the same age as my own 3 oldest children, actually my youngest sib is nearly 1 year younger than her niece. The huge drawback of this is my mom was too busy being p.g. to be ‘grandma’ :( BTW I don’t recommend this! She was not able to be with me during my ‘newborn’ days and I’ve always regretted that.
