Kaleid..no one’s saying that he wouldn’t have laughed or that this was rude..Sometimes some people are more sensitive to death and hearing other people make jokes about it hurts their feelings. I personally don’t think it was too soon but for others death is really hard.

Oh give it up – it is NOT too soon unless you personally knew the man. Even then, who are we to judge how much time is ‘appropriate’? How do you know he would not have laughed? Sheesh – give it up. It’s called a sense of humour, I hear you can rent them now – some of you should look into it.

These people are not dancing on the man’s grave or singing praises that he is gone, so just let it go.

Those commercials may have been annoying, but we do buy the Oxyclean and use it a lot. Some of the stuff I have read says that he truly enjoyed what he did, and it did show. He was always smiling. Thoughts are with his wife and little girl and stepson. Now, the guy who sells the SHAMWOW, thats another story!!! And I can only do it for the next 20 minutes!!!

Now, I’m not going to say that I never muted the TV when those commercials came on, but I agree with Emma, I was “strangely” sad when I heard the news. Life is a conundrum, indeed.

I believe Billy Mays would be happy to have us all yell this to one another! My husband yelled this news to me yesterday right after he heard. Billy found his nitch and now that he’s gone, he’ll be strangely missed! Life is funny that way, isn’t it?
