This could be an accurate description of both the restaurants or Australia itself.

Anyway, who goes to Outback Steakhouse anyway? By default there has to be a better steakhouse around.

This is the best if you read it to the tune of “Shave and a Haircut.”

Why would people with no teeth go to a steak house? To reminisce? “Dang, honey, remember the night we had us a porterhouse? That seems like a million years ago!”

Djinn – you’d be amazed. I moved from an urban area to a rural one during high school and was surprised to see a huge number of chain resturants compared to local ones, at least in the closest city centers. I imagine it’s because the chains have more money to blow, more brand power, etc. etc. So maybe Outback IS the only steak house around. Hell, maybe wherever this mom lives Outback is one of the nicer resturants in the area.

In the town I grew up in, an Outback would have been great! The nicest resturant we had was a Rib Crib! Just imagine the rednecks there!

I’ve never seen an Outback that wasn’t packed – they must be doing something right.

I serve at an Outback and that sounds like an accurate description of my clientele!
