Backstory: Charlie is my mom’s dog.
Yesterday Charlie and I walked into town. On the way I passed a man with a huge dog. I commented that he was as big as a horse. He said he is bigger than some horses, but he is very friendly. A few minutes later I passed a woman walking a miniature horse down State Street on the sidewalk like it was a dog. Pretty funny. You don’t see that every day.

I laughed out loud at this one. I collect strange sightings from my office (I look out onto a street in a suburban city and have seen all kinds of things from skateboarding German shepherd dogs to a man in an overcoat performing magic for no one while waiting for the bus (ta da!!)). I would have loved to have seen this. Even though miniature horses are creepy.

I have a neighbor with a miniature donkey that he walks like a dog and another with a goat he takes for walks. No so unusual in small town USA.
