Poop in the Sky

Forgot to tell you….  the other night (actually morning), I was up at 3:30ish, took the dog out and couldn’t believe all the stars in the sky and how clearly I could see everything, the Big Dipper (upside-down), Venus, etc.  What was funny was that I saw poop!  Remember?  There’s a bunch of them on your ceiling and I looked at them this morning when I was changing the sheets on the bed and remembered.  Just wanted to let you know ;)

OK, whoever posted this one has got to come back with more information about how the poop got on the ceiling!

Or does she mean the daughter has though glow in the dark stars that you can put on the ceiling?

It sounds like she is referencing there being stars on the ceiling, but what does seeing poop have to do with it?? Is there a constellation called poop?

If I remember there is a constellation that means “the poop deck of a ship”. It might be puppis. (I don’t feel like looking it up!) :)

I didn’t post this, but when I was a kid, I had the same (glow in the dark!) star set. It comes with a constellation layout guide, one of which is clearly labeled “Poop.” I thought this was HILARIOUS when I was younger.*

And yes, Poop is a real constellation. As KelE pointed out, it’s also known as Puppis.

*Okay, maybe I STILL think it’s funny.
