Guilt About Other People’s Moms

Backstory: Occasionally, I get emails from this random woman who has my e-mail address mixed up with her daughter’s. I haven’t had one in about a year, because I keep responding and saying that I’m not her daughter, because I know how mad my mom would be if she thought I was blowing her off.

That is priceless. She either knows you are not her daughter and it is a wind up or is seriously limited. Never mind telling her just have them as a prize you have won in life’s raffle

The same thing happens to me! Except the woman who emails me always tells her daughter off for not going to Church and complains about her daughter’s husband being a bad influence. I email her back every time to let her know I’m not her daughter, but the emails just keep coming!

Me too, only the lady who write me send me stuff like her bank account passwords. There’s no stopping her.

      this cracked me up.
me and my sister both had the wrong phone number for our grandmother. the number was for someone else’s grandma. whenever we called she was so happy to hear from us i could never muster up the courage to tell her i was not in fact her grand daughter.

I wish this would happen to me it’d be funny. Also Kristin, that’s sad, but sweet of you.

My old mobile number expired and eventually someone else got it, I know she received several birthday messages intended for me this year.
