Backstory: I told my mom I pulled a hamstring trying to wash my feet in the bathroom sink.
Geez- I think that feet-washing in the sink is a generic thing- I do the same thing except it’s getting harder and harder to get my leg up- plus the fact that our sink is higher than normal. I’m afraid I’m going to try it some day, lose my balance and fall back and hit my head on the bathtub and die of a concussion!!! Let the coroner try to figure that out!!!
Anyway, I found (from other many trips to the hospital) a small plastic basin that was used to give us “sponge baths” and I’m going to use that to wash my feet instead of tempting fate and trying to lift my leg (wait- that’s my mother’s leg- not mine- I have legs like Tina Tuner -) Keep cool and keep in touch. Love, Mom

“keep cool and keep in touch” I’ve never heard that, but it’s soo cute! Love this mom!!

Why do you wash your feet in the sink?

Yeah really….put an inch or two of water in the bathtub and sit on the edge for a second to wash your feet.

I don’t like my feet being dirty. Despite keeping my floors clean they still get dirty so I used to stand up in the tub and wash them. Once I had a kid, I started using her baby wipes. LOL
One visit to my Father’s house as teen showed me it was ‘genetic’. He was washing his feet in the tub. HA!

My mom washes her too… we both do it before we go to bed at night… guess it is genetic! lol

This is a first for me. I had never heard of anybody washing their feet in the sink! I just assumed you took care of that in the tub or shower. LOL

I totally wash my feet in the sink. It’s more convenient, I swear.

Me too – I wash my feet in the sink, it’s faster and uses less water than the tub.

Ha ha I never knew so many people washed their feet daily-let alone in the sink! I mean I shower everyday, but I am a sock and shoe girl during the day. Everytime I read a new comment on this post, I smile.
And Ashley-I hope you’re disinfecting the kitchen sink daily too! lol! :)
