Backstory: I occasionally flush my tampons down the toilet, and my mom was cleaning the bathroom.

      Wow, I learned you weren’t supposed to flush pads or tampons before I ever got my period. I feel bad for your mom and the janitors in any public place you flush tampons, too!

      Wow really? Where in the world are girls taught not to flush tampons? Pads no of course but tampons? I have never heard of this practice and I’m part really curious part disgusted at the thought of them going in the garbage. P

      You learn early not to flush tampons when the toilet get stopped up and mom makes YOU clean it up!

      Tampons don’t stop up toilets! They’re itty bitty!

      The only exception is the crappy toilet at my old place but we had bad plumbing and a slum lord! So I should say tampons won’t stop up MOST toilets…and invest in new plumbing if they do!
