Christmas Surprise!

Hi dearios,

Please hold open Monday, December 28 at 7:30 p.m.

We are going to see the Nutcracker at Centre in the Square.

I was able to get each of you a small part on stage. You will just be part of the children’s chorus and you can just wear your best dress and flat shoes.

love, Mom

      This is
      too good.

Her siblings are all well into their twenties.

I’m going to get tickets and come see you onstage!

Yes, I can confirm that we are all in our twenties. I think (hope?) my mom is kidding. Though you never know. I’ll follow the dress code just in case.

I dunno. She specifically mentioned flat shoes, maybe to make sure your height doesn’t give you away as being too old for the children’s chorus.

You MUST update us after the 28th! I need to know how this turns out. And you get some kind of special daughter points for being willing to go along with it either way.

Sadly, it was just a joke in the end, and we did not get to have our starring moment on the stage! It was still a good show, though…
