If I want to send someone a text message, do I have to have a special number? Or can I just send it to their regular phone number?

This is cute but that momma brings up a valid point: Verizon Wireless and Sprint allow you to send text messages from your cell phone to landlines. Other carriers might also do this.

I did not know that land lines could receive text messages. Is there a special phone for that? Man, I am really out of the loop on phone technology.

My friend texts me from her Verizon phone to my AOL account.

Yeah, this totally makes sense. I don’t blame her for getting confused. I didn’t know how to text until this year….and I’m only 20!

Yay Jeannie – and only 20!! THere is hope that not everyone is all crazy techo. I got my first cell phone 3 years ago (I’m 40)!
