I’m fat.
The Wii says I gained 2.5 pounds in the last 3 weeks and that I should lose 12 pounds to be healthy! I bought myself a pair of jeans from Penney’s like the ones you have. I have a muffin top in them. Yuck!!!!!!
I’m going to go buy an exercise bike this weekend. Maybe if it’s staring at me every day I’ll use it

But if you have a WiiFit and you want to lose weight then why buy another expensive item that you might not use?

“I’m fat”, “I gained 2.5 pounds”, “muffintop…yuck”. Sheesh, talk about disempowering oneself and passing the same message onto your daughter. There’s no happiness in being a slave to one’s physical appearance, which is a far cry from the importance of physical fitness, the two are very different animals indeed.

@Solar: “I should lose 12 pounds to be healthy”. Sounds like the mother actually is overweight and as worried about her health as she is her muffin-top.

Oh humbug Solar. She is just being body-conscious! Have you ever played Wii Fit?

I’m with Solar on this. If she’s already exercising (and it sounds like she is if she’s using the Wii Fit), then losing 12 lbs probably won’t make her any healthier. If she has a muffintop in her jeans, then she should buy the proper size.
Besides, the Wii Fit bases “healthy” on BMI, which is a totally useless measure.
