Backstory: My mom is obsessed with Twilight and is going to see the midnight show…she was telling her Bible study group about it.
Rob’s girlfriend has only seen Twilight and was telling me that Rob thinks the movies are evil…get over it!!! She was asking me if I had read the books and I told her I had. Then she asked if I owned them, which I confirmed. When she told me that maybe she would borrow them I nearly passed out. I DON’T THINK SO! Sorry, but the only person I would lend them to is you. They’re family heirlooms for crying out loud!

Ugh, sorry but this story isn’t cute, only creepy. So sick of Twilight.

Heirlooms? Too funny! Although I don’t blame Mom for not wanting to lend her books out knowingly to someone whose bf might purposefully damage, lose or destroy the books just because he thinks they’re evil? Regardless if it’s Twilight or some other book? How would he feel if she *accidentally* stomped on his Hustler mag? I get after my kids if they don’t treat library books respectfully.

Haha, I am not into Twilight, although I will admit I haven’t read them or watched the movies.(so I have no real opinion). But sometimes I get really possessive of my books! My aunt wanted to borrow my copy of Anna Karenina and I made up a lie about my husband being in the middle of reading it! :)

Family heirlooms?! You can get the books at Wal-Mart for five bucks a pop.

I totally understand and agree. NO ONE touches my Twilight books but me.
Btw, I’ll be 58 next week and I have an Edward action figure. He has adventures.

This is my mom–she said to tell you that
1) “Creepy” comment hurt her feelings
2) They’re NOT $5 books, they are the complete hardcover set with it’s own special edition box.
:D

Nothing creepy about this, it’s just funny especially the whole Bible Study discusson thing. And I’m not into Twilight myself, but I think it’s funny that so many adult women get so involved in it.
