haha, I love this mom: she provides (wittily!) the answer for my vague feeling of bewilderment and betrayal when surveying recent high street window displays.

Just due to my personal style being… well, not Transylvanian! and missing my security blanket of a label where I feel confident that I’ll find a high percentage of things I’ll feel comfortable in. That’s all… sorry, did not mean to hint at Dark Disapproval of vampire-inspired couture. Although I would argue that the difference between clever re-imagining of nineteenth-century chic and just sticking corsets on things is too often neglected. Ah well!
