BBC news reported that a 29 year old male orangutan made a hole in the wall of his cage and escaped from the LA zoo yesterday. They did manage to capture him.

Tampa news reported that a 10 year old female orangutan climbed a 12 foot wall and escaped at Busch Gardens yesterday. They had to evacuate all the people, but did manage to capture her.

Were both of these escapes coincidences or planned by animal ESP????

Hi molly, it’s Jack the cat here (he is laying across my arms while I’m typing).  I just wanted to tell you that my mommy mailed you a package today with socks and long underwear so that you’ll have a great ski trip for your 30th birthday.  I think I would like to learn how ski someday, but do they make boots for cats?

I know now why this job pays so well. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 100 patients & only about 5 of them aren’t demented. I have to get up at 4am & have to be there at 6:30am! I can’t leave till everything is caught up. Today I didn’t get home till 8pm. It reminds me of the movie, “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest”. I feel like I was put on the medieval rack. Why can’t I win the lottery so I don’t have to go through this? ************ I liked your posted article on Facebook about the rapist seal. That poor bird!

Adam was a kissing machine today – he gives the best soggy kisses – we have gates up everywhere – it’s like having a ferret in the house!  Says dadadada and mumumum and “ga”for everything else – makes a squealy noise when he sees Lindbergh – like a cat’s meow.  He’s like Mowgli from The Jungle Book – but raised by cats, instead of wolves.

When he’s mad he grinds his teeth – well gums – and turns beet red and makes two little fists – and makes this sound as if he’s constipated – it’s hysterical.  I went into his room the other day and he was sitting on his floor flipping through two books he had pulled off his shelf – I almost cried.
