Samantha says she doesn’t want to snuggle.  Says she’s a dog and if you want to snuggle you should be looking for a two legged snuggler.  Says her “mom” would certainly appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Her biological clock is tick, tick, ticking.

The baby shower should be fun.  Sometimes they are silly, but it’s a happy event.  I’ve only been to a couple myself.  Everyone sits around and chats, there’s  food, and the honoree opens presents and every one oohs and aahs. I love the hat idea – there are so many cute hats now. You don’t have to limit your choice to “newborn” size, babies grow fast enough that you can buy a larger size and they’ll grow into it.

Well, it’s late so must get some sleep.  Tomorrow I take the beast in for a nail trim and grooming.  She looks really cute now, short of sheep-like except for the ears and tail, but is felting.

Jeff and Becky are on the way to Kentucky. Suzy’s water broke and she is in labor. The baby was not due until June 14. Jeff is so hoping this is a good sign. Suzy had slept with her ex-husband 3 weeks before the one night stand with Jeff and since the baby is coming earlier than originally predicted Jeff is hoping this means it is not his child. Becky will keep me posted. Suzy’s ex does not even know she is in labor. He does know that she is pregnant and would like the child to be his. Suzy, however, wants it to be Jeff’s and wants Jeff there for the birth. Becky says it takes 5 days for the DNA results to come back but she feels like if this is Jeff’s baby she will know the minute she sees it. The dominant eye brows that Jeff and Vicky have seem to be a dominate gene carried in the family and she feels like the baby will have some characteristics of Jeff if in fact it is his son.

Adam was a kissing machine today – he gives the best soggy kisses – we have gates up everywhere – it’s like having a ferret in the house!  Says dadadada and mumumum and “ga”for everything else – makes a squealy noise when he sees Lindbergh – like a cat’s meow.  He’s like Mowgli from The Jungle Book – but raised by cats, instead of wolves.

When he’s mad he grinds his teeth – well gums – and turns beet red and makes two little fists – and makes this sound as if he’s constipated – it’s hysterical.  I went into his room the other day and he was sitting on his floor flipping through two books he had pulled off his shelf – I almost cried.
