"It's surprising how parents can slowly come around. My dad always wanted a tattoo but, of course, thought I was being irresponsible when I started getting tattoos. My mom's always hated the idea. Fast forward to a couple years later...My dad and I got a matching tattoo and next time my mom comes to visit, she wants in on "the family tat" as does my husband."
