I play scrabble online with my stepfather every week & he takes it waaaaaay too seriously.

I’m having this conversation with your Stepfather as I write.  He is speculating as to why you aren’t playing.  I tried explaining to him that maybe you have other things to do after you get off work, but he didn’t seem receptive to that idea.  (…after all, what could you possibly have that’s more important than playing with him???)

So I told him that maybe you JUST AREN’T THAT INTO HIM.

His feelings are super hurt now!
