Inauguration Inspiration
Backstory: I received this after my lackluster response to an earlier email where my mom tried to give inspirational fashion advice.
Your response tells me you are rolling your eyes at the same time. I actually intended for that message to be funny. . . . so here is a serious inspirational message for this inauguration week:
“Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did”.
I think I will use this as my Thought for the Day at school on Tuesday. If it doesn’t inspire my students, it will at least keep me going.
How is a Vacuum Like a Man?
Some people are like cordless vacuums,they only suck a little.Some people(many actually)don’t suck at all.
But then you have the “Oreck”people(no offense to the fine Oreck vacuum advertised every 10 minutes on TV )….they suck bigtime.The anti pet guy sounds like the Oreck variety.
Knowing the difference and how to spot them can save much heartburn and money.
